Milk Lactation Bars (Honey and Nut)
Breastfeeding is meant to come very naturally to new moms, but for some women, producing enough milk to feed their babies is a difficult struggle. So many factors influence breastmilk production, including stress (and what could possibly be more stressful than bringing home a new baby when you have no idea what it needs from you.) We LOVE these Honey and Nut Bars from Milk Lactation Products, as it they are especially formulated to stimulate and increase lactation. Helping to ease some of the anxiety around breastfeeding a newborn. Each of these specially formulated bars have been crafted using selected food groups & traditional herbs, trusted by many to support lactation. The bars also contain crucial minerals, vitamins and oils to increase the nutritional value of your breast milk, and can be easily enjoyed as a guilt-free snack.
- These lactation bars have been formulated to have anti-colic effects on your little one. Yes, mom, anti-colic. It’s sugar, dairy, caffeine, lactose and preservative free. This means that the natural ingredients that are used will not cause any food sensitivity reactions such as cramps, reflux or gas.
- These lactation bars are high in vitamin A, C and B6, calcium, iron and magnesium. This increases the nutritional value of your breast milk, making it a richer, creamier and more satisfying meal for your child. Not only will they be fuller for longer, but the oils consumed assists with their digestive system and helps prevent constipation.
The Honey & Nut Lactation Bars are packaged in a box of 15 bars.
- Consume 1 lactation bar every day for 15 days until the quantity in the box is complete to restore or increase your breast milk supply.
- Mothers may ‘double up’ by consuming 2 lactation bars per day, but still need to consume at least 1 bar every day over the course of two weeks to stabilize their milk supply independently from supplements.
Tip: Pregnant mothers can pack 2-3 bars in their hospital bags and consume a bar once labor started or on the day of their cesarean. This helps to ensure a breast milk supply for the very first latch after birth. If they have an insufficient milk supply thereafter or if their baby is not picking up weight healthily, they can continue to consume a bar per day.
